Entrepeurnership is a vital part owards alleviating many of the socil issues that exist in urban environments! PinQue is an a model in progress, Targeted for full maturation in 2007!

The ladies who currentlyy working on Pinque are Have chosen A product they believe they themselves need! They are young wowen, who volunteer as models under am fahionflyte, Some aspire to a profession in the Beauty /fashion field, Some are into community leadership or business training. they are understand the challendes and constraints faced by their peers, more impoertantly they empatisse with the dreams, desires and motivation!

Pinque looks better on color!

Pinque is an examination of sexuality as seen through the eyes of women 20- 79 yrs;
Single women, married women, mothers, grandmothers, daughters. All wanted sexy. All spoke the words few understood it, fewer still knew how to control or utilize the power! PinQue challenged the notion of self-definition, desire, expression and satisfaction.!

What keeps us from stepping into our light! When did we first accept PinQue as negative.
Apart from aeshetic there is a form , function, and cultural norms. I purposely chose to design around sensuality and sexsuality, primarily because it afford an opportunity for discourse! What I encountered ran the gamut from unanswered questions, misconceptions and taboos. most disturbing though was the hidden abuse permeating! Secrets that women hold unto!

What's in your man's wallet!

I got four call , some woman trying to find out who I was, extremely vulgar! I had been getting a lot of these calls, and for awhile,1 honestly thought they were pranksters! But yesterdays call mentioned a business card; supposedly found in her pocket book! Then the second directly mentioned me by name and did I sell Mary Kay! Well I don't, and since I give those cards specifically out to business contacts. I finally figured out that some poor woman come across my card and assumed her man was stepping out on her.Poor guy! First let me assured I was not dating any of your men. I do not even give my business card to men who approach me, for personal reasons, I take theirs!

if I may say so myself! Men keep it in their wallets to replace the generic picture that comes when they purchase it! I sell Image, I sell Creative Imaging stategies! Richie Richardson, who designed my card is one of the best Graphix artist...the card was designed to be remembered and he did an exceptional job. I am in the fashion and styling business, I have access to the knowledge and tools needed to create this image. photographers, hair, make-up, designers and stylist.

This got me thinking when your guy is going through a though period, when he's taking his card out whose image is in his wallet to remind him of what counts!
Is it the pin-up that you are!. Next time you see my card, just contact me and ask for my help so that yours is the picture in his wallet . HE ONE THAT COUNTS!

It's Cheaper to date her

Exactly when did dating become a cheaper substitute for prostitution!

I recently decided to re-enter the dating field!
Which really meant I decided to actually follow through on my promise that,
“Sure, count on it; I’ll give you a call!”

Now I may be closer to one end of the curve than the other, so I checked with my dictionary to make sure my terminology was up to date.

'An engagement to go out socially with another person, often out of romantic interest:
One's companion on such an outing. "

Key words Engagement, out and socially!
I checked the local listing and saw there was an active night life in New York ,and even Brooklyn was extremely well stocked with options. I chose men my age or older. They I assumed would have a cultural affinity with the term, and a feint memory with the experience! Fairly decent upright men, no criminal records, here.
Working men,
Yes they could have afforded it
Ambitious,
I never thought I’d consider that a fault!

Now just in case you get the wrong idea, I like being pursued. I enjoy the man taking the lead, I know my value Strength and draw, I don’t need you in my face 24hrs a day, I can tell the weeds from the weed heads! I’ll wait for the call...
and I got them, every day, first thing in the morning last thing at night. Truth is I lead a very full, busy life! However I believe that people, and relationships we form are important, so I give my personal contacts at minimum the same level of respect I do my business contacts, 24-48hr call backs!
And I got it, they were sincere …
As they could be, they sincerely felt that was the best effort they needed to put out to hold a woman as their own! To have companionship and a regular sexual partner, they need only find a woman who “fit into their schedules’

Sisters what the hell type of monsters have you created!

I have heard complaint about the lack of ‘good men” so I started asking around and reading some of the blogs by women on dating!

Yes I blame women, if you did not accept the shit; men would pull their game up! Time was when a man did not have the time to court, he’d hire a hooker to service his needs. Now to hear the brothers tell it…

Say what you may, ladies of the night understand the value of what they are putting on the table (or any other place they choose, but variety will cost you!) They make sure their transportation back and front, sorry I mean forth is covered, their drinks are paid for( from a glass of course), and accommodations are covered! Services included (guaranteed with a smile) …
So what’s the going rate today.
at least a couple hundreds, and don't let her be intelligent, sophisticated and well read! We're speaking a brother shelling out upwards of 400 bucks
Don't ask I have friends in all places!

“Baby it’s o.k., I’ll meet you there,” “What’s the bill, here’s half, or it’s ok, let me cover it!”, “since you paid the cab to your place I’ll cover my ride home!” services rendered...

HEN PARTIES!
I first heard the term from a friend, When I asked her what in heavens name was a hen party she promptly replied a party where no 'cocks' (male chickens0 are allowed!
Popular in the 60's and 70's, they were all female events where everyone was free to voice their concerns, where the issues best left for "polite company', could freely be discussed. It was Food Fun and Fashion and all the girlie things we forget, or have put aside in an era of equality!
We will revive these parties in 2005. At least once a month we ask women, to revisit a time when women were female, and when femininity was savoured. We will present our lingerie , host workshops on the things female want to know about. We will discuss women's health, home decorating and 'man-handling"! We will speak and read poetry, dance, sing and party!

Sometime mid 2004 I was asked to design a line of Lingerie. This is not a new request. however I was determined to design lingerie for women. Not surprisingly what women wanted was not what is being sold to them.
"Comfortable"
"not Binding"
"I hate g-strings"
I want sexy But comfortable'
Warm, dammit ,warm!!"
"Soft'
Breathable".. "Not that nylon, Sh..."
'Yea and sexy enough for my man'
"Actually I sleep in the buff, I need lingerie to get in and outta da bed!"
